About
POWER, People for Offshore Wind Energy Resources, is a coalition of organizations that support an offshore wind project for Delaware. POWER was established in August, 2021.
This website is funded by the Delaware Nature Society.
Mission Statement:
POWER (People for Offshore Wind Energy Resources) advocates for offshore wind projects and supporting infrastructure that benefit Delaware. In addition to creating local jobs and reducing greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution, offshore wind furthers the development of a cost-effective and reliable supply of electricity to help meet rapidly increasing energy demands. Guided by the best available science and data, POWER works to educate the public, combat misinformation and promote informed, inclusive public discourse.
